New Apartment

i have found an apartment in valencia and i just got the keys today! it’s pretty sweet. it’s in an old, old building but the apt is reformed with a new kitchen and bathroom. there are really high ceilings, big windows that let in a lot of light and two bathrooms! anyway, i’m going to start moving things in this week and on thursday i have a meeting and then dinner with my coworkers (who i haven’t met yet). Then, Saturday, Carlos and I have a wedding to go to and Monday I start my new job at the Orange Tree (www.theorangetree.org). Wish me luck!

i'm home!

home sweet home for a whole month!! and carlos is with me. perfect. anyway, i’m so incredibly glad to be home, to swim in my pool, see my family, eat my mom’s food, see benji, have lots and lots of space and be in hot, DRY weather! i’m loving it. man, it feels good to be home….even if home is bakersfield.

holy shit, it’s hotter than hell in valencia….maybe i died and i am actually in hell. jesus. i’m honestly looking forward to being in the bakersfield heat!! hahaha. well, at least we have air conditioning and a pool there!

Tomorrow

As of tomorrow, my new home will be Valencia.

Doesn’t that sound crazy? I can’t believe it’s actually happening, although I am ready and incredibly excited.
